RENEWED PROSPERITY.
HOPEFULNESS IN SYDNEY. "Australian business people are looking forward to a period of renewed prosperity with the exit of the Lang regime," said Mr. 0. J. Melvern, of Auckland, on his return this morning from a hurried visit to Sydney. Mr. Melvern was impressed by the business activity in the ibig shopping centres of the city and 1 instanced the firm of David Jones, Ltd., one of the leading emporiums of tho city. The big premises were crowded with shoppers continually.
