LIKES "REAL". MEN.
SPEED GIRL HATES PETTING. LONDON, June 9. "I like real men, but loathe the other type, who seem to think that women were put on earth to maul and kiss, which is a 6port I despise unless in love," says Miss Joan Richmond, the Australian motor driver, who, with an Englishwoman, Mrs. E. Wisdom, as partner, won the 1000 miles race at Brooklands. "I think," she said to the special representative of "The Sun," "that we women will always be secondary to outstanding men, as we are physically unable to stand as much; but we arc far superior to the ordinary fellow who prefers to dribble life away in night clubs."
