AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB
TO-DAY'B MEETING. VISIT OF AMERICAN SCHOOLBOYS. President Harry Goldie occupied the chair at to-day's lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne and Choyco's reception hall. There was a large attendance, and among the visitors were: Messrs. H. H. Sterling (Wellington), A. F. Tunks . (Tauranga), J. S. Woolley (Whangarci) and W. E. Jackson (Wellington).
The secretary announced that a party of 25 American schoolbo3 r s would arrive by the Monterey on June 20. They were to be entertained in the morning by the Auckland Junior Chamber of Commerce and in tho afternoon it was intended that members of the Rotary Club should take them for a drive through the city and suburbs.
Gifts for the unemployed camps were solicited.
The speaker of the day was Mr. J. A. Clarke, a missionary and explorer, who delivered an address on his experiences in the Congo.
