Ronalds, of Lyttelton, is at present on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Cranstone Leighton, who has been staying with her father, Mr. A. D. Seabrook, at Mount Albert, is returning to Hamilton to-morrow. * * • » Miss Dorothy Butler was appointed to the position of hon. secretary for the Civic League yesterday afternoon, in place of Mrs. Wolstencroft, who is proceeding to England. * • * # Dr. Buckley-Turkington leaves by the Monowai next week , for America and London, where she will attend the B.M.A. centenary conference in July. Dr. Buckley-Turkington intends to take a post-graduate course during , her absence. * * • ♦ The many friends of Dr. Hilda Northcroft will be interested to hear that she is acting a<? the New Zealand delegate to the B.M.A. centenary conference in London in July. At the present time Dr. Northcroft is in Vienna attending clinics and lectures, also investigating the latest methods in kindergarten and child welfare work, and will return to Auckland at the beginning of October.
