Mr. Scott suffered severe concussion.

There was a slight improvement, in the condition of the' six-year-old boy, Neville Harbutt, of Mariri Road, Onehunga, at the Auckland Hospital to-day. He was knocked down by a motor car on Thursday, and his skull was fracturad. An improvement was reported in the condition of Mrs. Edith Whitehead, aged 00, of Thames, who was found with one leg broken in Grafton Gully after an all-night exposure in wet weather. She is still unable to state the circumstances which led to her being in the gully, and how she came to break her leg.
