ALEXANDRA DAY.
KING UNVEILS MEMORIAL. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 9. The King yesterday unveiled a memorial to the late Queen Alexandra at Marlborougli House. There were present detachments from the three regiments of which the late Queen was Colonel-in-Chief. The British and Danish, national anthems were played by the band of the Welsh Guards. Yesterday was the 21st celebration of Alexandra Day, and the streets of London and all other towns in the country were picketed by Alexandra rosesellers, who exchanged their flowers for contributions to hospitals.
