TO-M OR ROW'S GAMES
SECOND ROUND STARTS.
PONSONBY PLAYS DEVONPORT.
The opening of the second round of the A.R.L. senior championship will see all three matches played at Carlaw Park tomorrow afternoon, with Ponsonby v. Devonport the main attraction. Devonport have managed to carry through unbeaten to date, while Ponsonby have gone down by narrow margins to both Devonport and Marists, but the games throughout have been so evenly contested that there is always a possibility of Dcvonport's defeat. Newton and City will provide the curtain-raiser, and on No. 2 ground Marists and Richmond should put on a game that might easily out-rival tho Devonport-Poiisonby match in thrill incl interest.
