Mr. Ilnmblyn, instructor in agriculture ] for North Auckland, addressed a meeting of ratepayers in explanation ana furtherance of the small farm scheme. Mr. .T. Scott Davidson, riding councillor, presided. Many questions were asked and clearly answered by Mr. Ilamblyn, who also said the department would welcome suggestions as to working the scheme from the farmers. A riding committee, consisting of Messrs. T. Wilson, R. Dodds, and J. W. Cliff, was appointed to co-operate with the Department. Settlers generally who mav be prejudiced against the scheme are advised to I await the visit of the organiser before I-passing judgment on.:it, _
