N.S.W. SENSATION

SECRET DOCUMENT. ALLEGED LANG PLAN. Scheme to Take Control of State After Election. "ANOTHER ZINOVIEFF LETTER." I United I'.A.—Kloctric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The "Daily Telegraph" this morning publishes the photograph of a document found in the rooms at Parliament House occupied by (he sitting members of the Lang party. The paper says that the original, as discovered, will be forwarded to the Commissioner of Police. The document is torn at (lie top and bottom. The headings read: "Lang Secret' Service—Strictly Confidential." The following are excerpts: — "On our return to power on June 11 with a definite mandate from the people to govern and carry out tin; Lang Plan, we must preso on to our objective and do it quickly. "Socialisation and confiscation.

. "The legislation suspended through the dismissal of the Lang Government must immediately be restored by proclamation. the State Governor to be peremptorily deposed, the Federal Government to be given 2-1 hours to quit Federal City territory and New South Wales Federal City territory, and all property not removed within 24 hours to be confiscated and vested in the New South Wales Government. "The exodus of men and money to other States must cease. All persons in New South Wales on June 11 will be compelled to remain in New South Wales. A Lang Guard from the Workers' Defence Army will be stationed at all vital border points to hold lip transport. A rigid Press censorship will be enforced. The Lang Guards arc to take precedence over the civil police. "The Lang Treasury is to seize control of all banking, the Lang Guards to have power to place under arrest any person disobeying or refusing to carry out their orders. All the Government's payments will be made in debenture notes, which will be proclaimed legal tender at their face value. All action will radiate from zero hour within 48 hours of midnight on Juno 11. "If Mr. Lang should by any mischance be defeated for Auburn hi will be appointed State Governor." Curiously enough the "Labour Daily" seemed to have full knowledge that the "Daily Telegraph" was to publish the story in the morning, because it says: "The 'Daily Telegraph' this morning publishes a stupid and obvious forgery which purports to be a secret report by a mythical Lang Guard Secret Service agent. It is a pitiful repetition of the Zinovieff letter, which was. used to stampede the British electors against Labour in 1924." The "Labour Daily" adds: "The document was carefully torn to disguise its origin, and on behalf of the Labour movement we assure all electors that this document is an impudent fraud and a fake. We challenge the 'Daily Telegraph' at nine o'clock this morning to place in the hands of the Police Department sufficient evidence to convince it that the document is genuine."
