SLEEPWALKERS' EXPERIENCE
What is considered to be the classic ease in the mysterious malady of somnambulism happened not many years ago in a travelling circus 111 France. At dead of night a lion-tamer walked out of his tent and entered the 1 lions' cage, wherein he was found sitting fast asleep beside a very wideawako lion, whose mane he was gently ruffling. A surprising instance of somnambulism, wherfe a man, in his sleep, stepped out of a balcony and fel! , about 12ft. The shock woke him with a nasty jerk, and he was promptly arrested as a cat burglar! Only after vociferous protestations was he able to ■ prove to the police that he had been sleep-walking from his own private apartment.
