SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
PUKEKOHE AND <OTAHUHI7. REQUEST FOR DEFINITION. A request was made to the Minister of Education, the Hon. R. Masters, at Pukekohe yesterday to define the boundary between the districts of the Pukekohe Technical High School and Otahuhu Junior High School. The chairman of the Pukekohe Technical High School Board, Mr. F. Perkins, said his board was of the opinion that children between Manurewa and Mercer should attend Pukekohe. The principal, Mr. W. F. The Minister promised to give the matter consideration, and, in referring to a suggestion that new classrooms and an assembly hall were to be built at Otahuhu, hinted that the Department had no fiunds available for new buildings.
