PIONEER'S FUNERAL.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The funeral of the late Mrs. A. IToey, wVio died on Sunday in her 93rd year, after a residence of 70 years in Whangarei, was largely attended by settlers from all parts' of the district. The burial took place in the Rust Lane Cemetery, where many of the forefathers of Whangarei sleep.
