BLIZZARD LIKE.
SNOWSTORM IN SOUTH. MAIN ROADS JMPASSABLE. MOTOR CARS IN DITCHES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNTEDIN, this day. A snowfall in Dunedin and Otago was particularly heavy yesterday. Reports this morning are .that the. roads at Foxburgh and Alexandra, are impassable. The main road over Mount Cargill was also impassable for some, hours because of drifts. Several motors attempting the passage yesterday came to grief in ditches. The Bnowstofm was the most severe experienced for many years so early in the season, the wind and driving snow being -blizzard-like. To-day is clear, cold and sunny.
