EXPERIMENTAL REUNIONS.
DIVORCE PETITION FAILS. PARTIES MET ON HOLIDAYS. (By Telegraph. —rress Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Judgment.was given by Mr. Justice Blair in the Supreme Court to-day in a divorce action in which subsequent to a deed of separation being entered into there was evidence of the parties having made unsuccessful experimental reunions. The petitioner, Isaac Baty, founded his petition for divorce from his wife, Margaret Baty, on the ground of mutual separation. Giving his decision his Honor said an unusual course of procedure had been adopted by the parties after they entered into a deed of separation in 1925. Apparently the parties, although separated and liviag in different towns, made more or less a habit of spending holidays together. They resumed ordinary Marital relations and then parted, returning to their respective occupations. The petition was dismissed with costs on the lower scale. His Honor added that the fact remained that petitioner had alleged mutual separation and in the Judge's view petitioner had not been able to establish that.
