HIKURANGI SWAMP.
INSPECTION BY ENGINEERS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI,' this day. Tho lands drainage engineer, the district engineer of the : Public Works Department, and the inspector of mines inspected the Hikurangi. swamp yesterday with a view to reporting on the question of draining the swamp to prevent further flooding of the Waro Co-operative Collieries.
