CHURCH FOR MAORIS
NEW BUILDING AT PAEROA. (From Our Own Correspondents PAEROA, Monday. Tlie first Anglican chinch built exclusively for the use of the Maori people in the Waikato diocese has been completed at Paeroa, with seating accommodation for 100 persons. The generosity of Mrs. Nicholls, of Paeroa, who donated the site and contributed £300 to the building fund, has made the work possible. Ihe Maoris in the district raised the balance of about £100, and many articles of furniture were presented to the church. The church will be consecrated on Thursday, June 2, by Bishop Clierrington and Bishop Bennett.
