A. Lepper, of Noi'theoto, and her daughters, the Misses Myrtle and Connie Lepper, have returned from a motor car tour cf the Taranaki, Hawkc's Bay and South Auckland districts. Miss Elsie Jennings, who was the recipient of a decoration at the French j Club last evening, belongs to several organisations in Auckland. She is well known in St. John Ambulance work, is on the committee of the Overseas League and a member of the board of managers of Knox Church, Parnell, member of the Auckland Aero Club, and an enthusiastic worker for the Mercantile Auxiliary Club, which extends hospitality to the various sailors in port.
