ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY. CHATHAM CUP ENTRIES. It was reported to the Control Board of the A.F.A. last night, Dr. Xeil MacDougall presiding, that the City Council could not agree to the request for a reduction of the ground charges for the use of city playing areas. Two further entries for the Chatham Cup competition, from the Tramurewa and Po.nsonby Clubs respectively, were received. This brings the Auckland total entry to three, Y.M.C.A. Club being the other competitor. The senior division committee notified that no transfers would be approved alter May 31. The following ground officials were appointed for Saturday:— Outer■■ Domain, Mr A. G. Blacktop; Victoria Park Mr. A. Andrews; St. Helier's, Mr W. Barry; Domain, Mr. R. Adams; Walker Park, Mr A. It was agreed to play a ' midget match, the final of the seven-aside tournament, and to hold the 100 yards players' championship on June 3, prior to the Auckland , v. Navy rep. match.
