GAY COURT ARRIVES

Gay Court, the three-year-old by Gainscourt from Polonaise, arrived at Ellerslie yesterday in charge of his trainer, H. J. Benge. This horse was brought direct from Wanganui, where he ran prominently in hack races last week. Historic and Lyrical leave Wellington to-day for Te Rapa, nnd will come on to Auckland after the Waikato meeting. The following riding engagements are announced for the Waikato meeting:— E. Garrett, Kaihoremai; E. Ludlow, Beryl Xiatour; A. G. Parsons, Wilton: R. Mcßae, Hawthorn, Wishbone, Good Idea, Toujours, and Imamint (if started in the Flying Handicap).
