AUCKLAND CLUB'S OPENING
MAY MAIDEN STAKES
The Auckland Coursing Club will open its 1932 season at the Auckland Trotting Club's ground. Mangere Crossing, OUhuhu, to-morrow afternoon, when the MayMaiden Stakes will be decided. A smart lot of young longtails will compete, and with strong running game, the various courses should provide very interesting eport. Mr. Matt Freney will act as judge. Mr. Roy Polkinghorne as elipper, Mr J. C. Shanks as slip steward, Mr. J. P Fox as hare steward, Mr. W. R. Arnold as announcer and Mr. R. Roberts as field steward. The finst pair of greyhounds will be slipped at 2 p.m. sharp.
