BARQUE DISMASTED.

RADIO TO SHIPMASTERS.

WELLINGTON, this day.

A message from Adelaide states that a radio at 12.4 a.m. notified shipmasters that the barque Hougomont was reported dismasted at 1 p.m. on April 25 in the Great Australia". Bight, in lat. 37.36 S„ long. 133.15 E., and was proceeding under a small square sail on the fore lower mast.

The main and mizzen masts were gone, and masters were requested to report the Hougomont's position, if sighted.

The Hougomont was bound from Lon don to Port Lincoln.
