MURDER SUSPECTED.
DAIRY FARMER SHOT.
SYDNEY, April 26.
A dairyman, Mr. Albert Victor Chaffey, aged 40, was found dead in a yard at the back of his home at Glen Innes, 400 miles north-west of Sydney, with a bullet wound in the rear of the skull. He was apparently shot from behind. A sum of money was stolen from his belt.
Mr. Chaffey was a member of one of the most prominent familfcs In the country. His cousin, Mr. F. A. Chaffey, is a member of the New South Wales Assembly. Detectives are of the opinion that the case is one of murder.
