SOCIAL CLUB.
At the annual general meeting of the Auckland Gas Company's social club. Mr. .1. J. Rogers presided. The report of the club's activities showed a satisfactory position. Officers were elected as follows : Patron, Mrs. James Lowe; chairman, Mr. J. .T. Rogers; deputy chairman, Mr. G. Kenny ; vice-presidents, Messrs. Ashton, Collins, Blackman, Campbell, Woollams, Steward. Boeder, Weston, Wilson, MacGregor, Trewhella, Yeatman, Young, Mackie, Allan, Watson ; trustees, Messrs. S. Collis and G. W. Taylor; auditor, Mr. J. N. Woollams; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. D. Kealey; general committee, Mrs. Mann, .Miss Cooke, Messrs. Munro, Bell, Brailoy, Doull, Mills, Wilkins, Bridges, Brace, Culpitt, Broadribb, Drage, Priestley Wilson, Clark. Matravers and Fearn; musical organisers, Messrs. Bruce and Broadribb.
