CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING.
MORRINSVILLE GUN CLUB.
Some good scores were put up at the Morrinsville Gun Club's opening day shoot, when 20 members competed. For the past two seasons the club has been undefeated in inter-c-lub matches, and prospects for the present season are also bright. Results:—

Sixth Sweep, all off 30yds, C birds.— Amundsen, Webb and W. Aitken tied with 5 birds. In the shoot-off Aitken missed the ninth. Webber the tenth, while Amundsen got his and won. Gimcrack Sweep, 5 birds.—Keeps (loyds), Webber (lSvds) and Amundsen (10yds) shot the possible and divided the stake. Gimcrack Sweep, 6 birds.—Sharp shot possible; Heeps, W. Ailken. A. Aitken, Tilsley, Amundsen and Findlay shot live birds.
