MAUNGAWHAU OLD PUPILS.
Members of the Maungawhau Old Pupils' Association met in the school last evening. Mr. D. H. Thomas, representing the school committee, presided, and outlined the intended activities of the association. He welcomed Mr. P. J. Ohlson, a previous headmaster of the school.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr. F. J. Ohlson; president, Mr. W. W. Edgerley; vice-presidents, Misses F. Eastgate, E. Duffus, Messrs. D. Thomas, F. Ashley, G. Turner, Downy, Rowe; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. Grattan; committee, Misses D. Gordon, R. Kennedy, McCathy, Spooner, Messrs. G. R. Tutt, E. Lane, K. Treacher, L. Walker, Max Blakey.
