All i . events were started from Commodore W. ■ ; Thomas' motor yacht Aloha, and were 1 carried out without a hitch. The racing • was keen in each class except the keelers, . a dead-heat being registered in the S class . between Colleen and Sea Sleigh on corrected times. Komuri won the L and N class, easily beating the favourite Valeria ■' by 8 minutes. Celox won the H class by I'ljm from Spray. Demon won the T, X and l' Y class by 33s from Sybila. The Hewson ,'! Memorial 'for the Z class, sailed by youths -; under 21, was ■ won by Kitty. A second . race for this class fell to Delphine. Results: — : Keel Yachts.—Queenie, 4h 20m 16s; ' Maybelle, 4h 27m 50s. Maybelle wins on ! time. 'l H Class.—The finish was: Starloch, 4h 110 m 345; Starlight, 4h 18m 445; Omatere, ! 4h 20m ; Spray, 4h 20m 15s; Celox, 4h 21m 1 245. Willcocks. HEWSON ' MEMOKIAL CUP. The race for the Z class for this trophy i was a keen one, the finish being timed: Kitty (scr), 3h 10m 13s; Oi (lm), 3h 13m 4fis; Me Too (scr), 3h 15m 6s; Delphine (3m). 3h 15m 235; Ngaio (6m), 8h 17m 21s; Edna V. (7m), 3h 18m 58s. Result: Kitty 1, Ngaio 2, Edna V. 3. The winping skipper was Master V. Field. ■ '■ ; — POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. j RACE TO BEACH HAVEN. The Point Chevalier Sailing Club held a cruising race to Beach Haven on Saturday under good sailing conditions. The race started at 3 p.m. under the Mark Boy ' system. RACE TO CORNWALLIS. The Manukau Yacht Club held a race from Onehunga to Cornwallis on Saturday. The starters, which were sent away on their handicap times, were Patricia, Nyria, Aoten, Miss Mac and,.
