PERSONAL.
Mr. A. C. Johnson, of Auckland, is on a visit to Wellington. Mr. A. M. Howden was to-day elected a member of the Auckland Stock Exchange. The Hon. Alport Barker, of Suva, who is on a visit to Auckland, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. H. Turner left for "Wellington last evening. He expeets to return tomorrow morning. Mr. H. O. Nolan, president of the Auckland Racing Club, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. G. R. Hutchinson, left for Wellington last evening to attend a meeting of the New Zealand Broadcasting Board. Mr. W. H. Cowper, of Christchurch, New Zealand manager of the London and Liverpool and London Globe Insurance Co., Ltd., was an arrival by the Ulimaroa yesterday after a short visit to Australia. He is at Hotel Cargen.
