PORK EXPORT SCHEME.
PRIZE CARCASES . FOR HOME. (From Our Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, Saturday. In an effort to stimulate interest in the pork export trade with Britain the Morrinsvillc Agricultural and Pastoral Society is arranging for the shipment of the carcases of fat pigs exhibited at its show next March. On arrival Home these carcases will be judged by English experts in the pork trade. The export of lambs has benefited in the past by similar action. New Zealand's exports of pig products are valued at less than £500,000 a year, and it is stated that British buyers who' are satisfied with the quality have commented on the lack of a regular supply. In contrast Denmark's pork export trade with Great Britain has an annual value of £29,000,000. .
