CANTERBURY MARKETS.
■ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. Now that the potato market is practically at an end activity has slackened to negligible proportions. A few potatoes went North by the Waimarino this week. A few lots have been sold at prices below the figures quoted last week. There is a demand for milling wheat, but very little of it is offering. Fowlwheat remains at 5/2 a bushel, f.0.b., but tho i inland is slow. There has been some inquiry for white clover for local use.
