INCREASED ACTIVITY IN OTAGO

DUNEDIN, this day.
\n indication of increased activity in mining in the Tuapeka district is provided by the number of applications for mimng rights of various kinds which iave been°lodged with the clerk of the Warden's Court at Lawrence. Up to the end of October 51 such applications had been received for the current year, as against eight for 1930.
