UNDESIRABLE IMMIGRANT
SPANIARD REMANDED
\ Spaniard, Guzman Uriarte (24), who was- arrested on arrival of the Ruahine, from London, via Panama, yesterday, appeared in the Police Court to-day, charged with stowing away on the vessel at Panama on October 10. Uriarte, who was described as a hospital orderly; pleaded guilty. _ Detective Sergeant Kelly said accused reported himself to the captain the day after the Euahine left Balboa. He. had no passport, and, being an undesirable and prohibited , within the meaning of the Act, he would have to be deported. Tire fare from Panama to Auckland was £o'2. In order that .the Collector of Customs night inquire into the matter, accused iva! remanded to appear again on November 5. I . .
