THE UNDISCIPLINED MONGREL.
I can endorse what "Worker" says in your issue of the 9th inst. about the dog nuisance in the Point Chevalier district, as my garden lias suffered in a like manner with little hope of prevention unless I use a gun. It is not. only that growing crops are 'but much time is wasted in trying to mitigate the trouble or get rid of the nuisance. I fl other ways, the nuisance is also active; they, are a danger to pedestrians and motorists, alike. Last week a boy Avas knocked oil hi? bicycle by two dogs; he was injured somewhat and bitten by one of the dogs._ _ This dog nuisance is real and the authorities should take action to suppress it.
