VERY POOR DEMAND
Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated 'September 3;— > Fair attendance, very, poor demand. As compared with closing rates of last series 15 per cent lower on average when sold. About 80 per cent withdrawn at bids of 20 per cent-to 25 per cent lower as compared with last sale. i
