ROYAL LIFE SAVING CLUB.
A very satisfactory financial position was disclosed at a general nteeting of members of the Royal Life Saving Society last evening. Mr. A. Dicker (Takapuna) presided, and there was a representative number of delegates present. The secretary, Mr. F. Langley (Devonport), stated that the society's assets exceeded liabilities by £48, while the credit balance stood at £10. Correspondence was received from several members of Parliament offering to assist in obtaining a Government grant for the society. A communication was received from the Herbert Smith Trust (Hamilton) donating two cups for primary schools competitions.
