CONFINED TO HIS ROOM FOR SOME TIME. ENGAGEMENTS CANCELLED. ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) • WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, acting under medical advice, will be confined to his room for some time owing to blood vessel trouble. His Excellency, while able to transact business in hi« room, has been compelled to cancel all his public engagements for the present. The investiture and reception which it was proposed to hold at Government House on July 29, and for which a, number of invitations have been issued already, will be postponed.
