INTENT TO EXPORT COIN.
MINIMUM PENALTY IMPOSED,

WELLINGTON, this day.
Holding that all the circumstances pointed to silver having been 1 taken out for a commercial venture, Mr. E. Page, S.M., in his reserved decision, convicted Ronald Maxwell Stewart of having shipped with intent to export silver coin contrary to section 47 of the Customs Act, 1913.
The magistrate imposed a fine of £25, the minimum amount allowed under the Act. ' . 24.au
