WRESTLING.
McDOUGAL-ALLEY CONTEST,
The science of a year ago and the thrills and sensationalism of a fortnight ago can be expected when Tom Alley and "Scotty" McDougal meet for the third time at the Town Hall to-night. Alley was the winner a year ago, and McDougal scored in a sensational manner a fortnight ago, when the latter looked a certain winner. Many arguments have been heard since that bout, and consequently extraordinary interest is centred on the contest to-night. Heavy booking has been done, and the largest house of the season is expected. The contest should be a thriller from start to finish, and as an excellent supporting programme will also be staged, a great night of wrestling seems assured. Anton Koolman, of Finland, who has been registered by the New Zealand Wrestling Association, is still looking for matches, and declares that, although giving away weight, he is prepared to stake his reputation on his ability to make a good showing against Higgins, Elliott, or Kara Pasha.
