EX-SERVICEMEN'S SOCIAL.

A social and dance was held in the Buffalo Hall, Birkenhead, on Saturday night, under the auspices of the Birkenhead Ex-Servicemen's Association. Songs were given by Mrs. S. T. Carter, Mrs. F. Tothill, Mrs. C. Davenport, Mr. S. T. Carter, and whistling solos by Mr. C. C. Purdy. The piano accompaniments were played by Miss Mavis Hewson and Mr. Peter Black. Among those present were: Mrs. C.
