REDUCTION ESTIMATED. WASHINGTON, July 1. The Department of Agriculture estimates that the wheat production in .the northern hemisphere, excluding Russia and China, for the 1931-32 season will® total about 3,075.000,000 bushels, or 225,000,000 bushels less than last year. The North American crop, owing to the very poor condition of the spring wheat, will be 200,000/000 bushels below that of last year. LONDON SHEEPSKIN SALES. (Received 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 2. At the sheepskin sales 4461 bales were offered, including 878 New Zealand. They were in poor condition, and prices were about 15 per cent below May. About half were sold.
