HORSES FOR SYDNEY.
J. T. JAMIESON'S TEAM. SENT TO SYDNEY TO-DAY. The Takanini trainer J. T. Jamieson sent live horses to Sydney by the Marama to-Bay to race at spring meetings there. They comprise Ammon Ra, Chief Joy, Koda Pen, Prolyxo, and the rising two-year-old colt by Caravel—Vanga. Ammon Ra and Chief Joy are well known. Koda Pen is a half brother by Valkyrian to Polyena and Chief Joy, and raced here this season. Prolyxo is a rising two-year-okl filly by Limond from Hyades, and thus a full sister to Ammon Ra. The Caravel colt was purchased by Jamieson at the last yearling sales .at Trentham. He was bred in Australia. The Tippler— Miss Myra colt was not included in the team. Jamieson will leave for Sydney by the Monowai on July 12, the horses being sent over in charge of Jar vie.
