Darby, of Thames, is visiting Auckland and is at the Star Hotel. * * * * Mrs. Douglas Smith leaves by the Niagara to reside in Honolulu for the next three yeare. * * « * Miss Pamela Riddiford, of Lower Hutt, Wellington, arrived in Auckland yesterday, and will go on to Honolulu by the Niagara. *•» ' • Mrs. Mark Hambourg, who arrives in Wellington to-morrow with her talented husband, was formerly the Hon. Dorothea Mackenzie, daughter of Lord Muir Mackenzie. She was a talented violinist, and, a pupil of the great Ysaye, who died only a short while ago. Mrs. I-lambourg- acts as her "husband's secretary, so ehe leads a busy life, and she leaves behind in her London home a family of four talented daughters. Sonia, the eldest, is a journalist; Nadine is at the School of Economics; Michal is studying music; and Daria, who is only nine, is a talented" dancer.
