WRESTLING.
ALLEY IMPRESSES CRITICS. In training bouts with King Elliot, Tom Alley has shown that, despite his increased weight, he ie as fast and clever a wrestler as of old, and "Scotty" Mcwill have to be at the top of his form at the Town Hall on Monday even, in* if he is to hold his own. Onlookers ha,ve been impressed with Alley's form in Ms workouts, and it is predicted that with his increased weight and strength he will be even harder to beat than in former years. Elliot, too, is in great condition, and Alley is lucky in having him ae a training partner. McDougal is in fine fettle as the result of strenuous training and he is confident of success. The contest between these two wrestlers last year will live long m the memory of those who eaw it, and the meeting on Monday evening should be every bit as thrilling. The box plan and day sales are at Asher'e, Shortland Street.
