MINER FOUND DEAD.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHUECH, Thursday. A verdict .of suicide by gas poisoning wae returned by the coroner, Mr. E. D. Mosley, at an inquest this morning into the death of Andrew Jock, a Weet Coast miner, who was found dead in a shed at the rear of a house where he boarded in Christchurch. The evidence showed that Jock had been out of work and was short of money. He was* in' arrears with his board and the landlady had told him he must pay at least a part of the money or leave.
