OBITUARY.

MR. JOHN MARKS. ,An old resident of North Shore, Mr. John Marks, died at Stanley Bay on June 15, aged 89 years. Mr. Marks was an engineer, and worked until he was well advanced in years. He is survived by Mrs. Marks and three sons, Mr. Wilbert Marks, a member of the Waitemata Power Board, being the eldest. The second is Mr. C. Marks, of Kohimarama, who saw considerable war service, and the youngest Mr. Rowley Marks, who is prominent in educational affairs in Wanganui.
