BOY'S ADVENTURE.
Young Aucklander Makes for Australia. FATHER INTERVENES. SYDNEY, June 2. John Luckens, aped 10, of Auckland, arrived by the Ulimaroa to-day, but was prevented from landing at the instance of his father, who identified the boy's writing at the shipping office. The lad was travelling under the assumed name of Chris Morris. Radio communication with the ship placed his identification beyond doubt. He will be returned to Auckland on Friday. The lad wanted a job on an Australian farm and he says it is hard luck that he was discovered after coming so far.
