'flic 'Varsity harriers had a run at Mount Wellington, which proved a good test for the members. After going round tlie. lake the course led back to the main road, concluding with a handicap race of 600 yards. The winner was N. F. Cooper, with Magee and Hill next in that order. Good form was shown■ by • Vaugban, Henderson and Brown.
Graham, Simmonds and Hill are showing promise. The club is well off'with young members. Next. Saturday there will be a run from Mount Roskill School to Waikowhai. The club will probably be well represented at the New Zealand championship meeting.
