BIG DROP IN CHRISTCHURCH. CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. The Customs returns at Christchureh for May are as follows, tlie corresponding figures for May, 1930. being given in parentheses:—Customs, £41,363 (£86,379); beer duty, £5855 (£6702); petrol tax, £21,427 (£13,044); tyre duty, £1101 (£1463).
