ARRESTED WHEN FIGHTING.
ROTOROA INMATE IN TROUBLE. Allowed to visit the city for a few days on leave, an inmate of Rotoroa Inebriates' Home, Robert Raeburn Miller (37), a traveller, was yesterday arrested in* Newmarket on a charge of being disorderly while drunk. He pleaded guilty at the Police Court this morning. . Detective-Sergeant Kelly said Miller got leave to visit Auckland to have his teeth attended to, and yesterday lie became intoxicated. He was fighting with ano'ther man when arrested. Miller was remanded until Friday morning, the magistrate ordering him to be taken back to Rotoroa to-morrow evening. . , James Bell Laurie (60), a painter, whom Mr. Kelly described as Miller's "sparring partner," was fined £1 or three days' imprisonment on a simliar charge.
