CITY COUNCIL.
SEVEN NEW MEMBERS. MR. CAMPBELL HEADS POLL CITIZENS' NOMINEES SUCCEED THREE LABOUR REPRESENTATIVES Sixteen members of the retiring City Council sought re-election and all were returned, with the exception of Messrs.. W. L. Casey and J. R. Lundon. The council consists of 21 members, seven of whom are new. Mr. G. Grey Campbell headed the poll with 11,863 votes, Mr. H. P. Burton being runner-up with 11,591. Both are serving their second term on the council. Mr. D. Donaldson was third 6n the list, and two other newcomers, Messrs. J. L. Coakley and H. R. Jenkins, secured the fourth and fifth places ' respectively. Eight votes only separate the last provisionally-elected councillor, Mr. G. Brownlee and Mr. B. Martin, who heads the unsuccessful list, but there is a difference of nearly 200 votes between Mr. Martin and Mr. R. G. Milligan, who is next. Of the 21 members elected, 14 were endorsed by the Citizens' Committee. In the following result list an asterisk denotes a member of the previous council; .
