WAITEMATA POWER BOARD.
CHANGE IN PERSONNEL. THREE NEW MEMBERS ELECTED. The contest for the four seats on the Waitemata Power Board, representative of the boroughs of Takapuna, Northcote and New Lynn, were very keen. Eleven candidate's offered themselves, including all the retiring members. The only retiring member to be re-elected was Mr. J. A. Algie, of Takapuna. Mr. W. B. Darlow, representing Birkenhead, and the three Devonport members, Messrs. S. E. Kennings, C. W. Marks and G. Trevithick, were all returned unopposed. The present representatives of the Waitemata. County and the Helensville Town District, Messrs. J. Mackie, G. O'Halloran and H. A. Robertson, will hold office until May, 1932, and the term of Mr. W. R. T.
